Working together from the inception of the project, the designs for Bucket Club shows are designed for the storytelling to work at its best, using clean, clear visuals. As an emerging company, the design needed to be able to breathe into different  size venues, whilst fitting in the back of a VW Golf and Skoda Octavia for touring purposes. Another key consideration is having a set that will work exceptionally hard in festival tech set-ups. With a pilot tour in festivals with restrictive rigs, before Edinburgh Fringe 2016 this project saw the lighting design as an integral part of the design, using our favourite element (water) to give us incredible effects.

Premiering at the Pleasance Dome at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. Pilot tour dates at www.bucketclub.co.uk/tour.

Supported by Arts Council England and Tobacco Factory Theatres.

Picked out in the fringe 'what to see' from Lyn Gardner:
"newcomers Bucket Club follow up the delightful Lorraine and Alan with Fossils, a tale of monsters, facts and fictions."
